Introduction!

Hello, lovely readers!
This is the first post for the sweet spot blog. For this special occasion I would just like to to introduce myself and the blog. So lets begin: I am Mae, a teenage girl with a passion for baking and all things desserts. I know my fair share about baking already but I plan to walk you all through different recipes I try off the internet and my opinion on if they are worth the effort! I also will try different candies and sweets and tell you if they are worth your money!

I tried Coca-Cola Oreos

Hello, lovely readers! I have bought and tried the Coca-Cola Oreos so you don't have to. Retail in my area they cost $4.99 for a normal sized package, which is what I purchased. So upon opening I was greeted with the exact scent of Coca-Cola, which was a surprise. The Oreo's have a cute design, one red half, one regular Oreo half and cute Coca-Cola themed engravings. So at first bite I was overwhelmed with the taste of Coca-Cola and I swear a hint of cinnamon. The pop rocks soon made themselves very clear as the back of my throat filled with small pops. I continued to eat the cookie and developed a love-hate feeling towards the cookie. As it is equally gross and good. I honestly think the cookie was an interesting experience, buy at your own discretion! I hope this review helped :)

I tried Smart Sweets lollipops

 Hello, lovely readers! So I have purchased and tasted the Smart Sweets lollipops. So they retail for $5.99 per bag, each bag comes with fourteen lollipops or seven servings. They are advertised to not contain sugar alcohols, be plant based, be made with natural flavors, no artificial sweeteners and colored with fruit and vegetable juices. With all that being said, they taste like you would assume they do- like fake sugar. more specifically, stevia leaf extract. The flavors themselves aren't that great either, the watermelon/pink one tastes sweet and like stevia. The blue raspberry/blue one tastes like berries and again, fake sugar. The berry flavor wasn't pleasant either, I spit out the lollipop. So in my opinion its better to just get a bag of your favorite suckers and enjoy those rather than these.  I hope this review helped :)
